As we roll out this new website we are bringing back the Unit in Good Standing Firefly award and the Leadership Recognition Program. Both were new just prior to Covid hitting us and never actually got implemented as we were all in a state of flux and had many other concerns. As we are pulling out of that time of chaos, we are bringing back these two new programs. You will see a lot of information come out about these two awards in the coming months.
Indiana PTA Leadership Recognition Program was created to recognize the many hours of service and training put forth by volunteer PTA leaders in our state. The purpose of this program is to encourage, facilitate, and recognize the continuous growth of leadership shown by dedicated PTA leaders at all levels of the association.
Individuals will work to complete up to five (5) possible levels of training as a PTA leader. Many of the requirements may be done online by completing National PTA e-Learning courses. Upon completion of each leadership level, leaders will receive special recognition from Indiana PTA. Stay tuned to learn more about the special pin for accomplished leaders!
