Agents of Engagement: Celebrating Membership Success Across Indiana
Indiana PTA celebrates the hard work of our local units through our Membership Awards Program. These awards recognize PTAs and PTSAs that grow, engage, and sustain their membership, highlighting the impact strong membership has on schools and communities. Units of all sizes have the opportunity to be honored for their dedication, creativity, and success in building membership. Together, we show that every member makes a difference. Each year, our “agents” of engagement complete their mission with ingenuity and teamwork, proving that small actions can have a big impact. Awards will be presented at our annual convention, celebrating the outstanding achievements of our PTAs in front of their peers. Every unit’s efforts matter, and all are encouraged to participate and be recognized for their commitment to students and communities. |

Indiana PTA Awards Program
We are excited to announce that the Indiana PTA Awards Program is back this year! The deadline for submissions is February 1, so don’t wait to submit your paperwork. How can you help your unit qualify for awards? Filling out the President’s Report is a key step in providing us with the information needed to determine what level of awards your unit qualifies for. Be sure to get that turned in as soon as possible! Know someone who deserves recognition?

Indiana PTA Lifetime Achievement Award
The Indiana PTA Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates individuals whose dedication, leadership, and passion have made a lasting impact on PTAs, students, and communities across the state. This prestigious honor recognizes years of tireless service, innovative ideas, and unwavering commitment to advancing the mission of PTA. Recipients of this award inspire others through their example, leaving a legacy that strengthens and uplifts PTAs for generations to come. Do you know someone who has gone above and beyond to support their unit or council and deserves to be honored? Nominations are $50 and should be submitted at least four weeks before your event to ensure the award can be prepared. Each honoree receives a personalized certificate and an Indiana PTA pin as a lasting token of appreciation. National PTA Lifetime Achievement Award
The National PTA Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honor bestowed by PTA, recognizing individuals whose extraordinary dedication, leadership, and vision have profoundly shaped the PTA movement at the local, state, and national levels. This prestigious award celebrates a lifetime of service, honoring those who have championed the education, health, and well-being of children while inspiring others to take action in their communities. Recipients demonstrate a remarkable commitment to PTA’s mission, leaving a lasting legacy through advocacy, mentorship, and innovative programs that strengthen families, schools, and communities. Their achievements serve as a shining example of the power of volunteerism, leadership, and relentless passion for improving the lives of children nationwide. Do you know someone you or your unit would like to recognize? Be sure to submit your nomination with ample time before your event—usually at least six weeks—so the award can be prepared. Remember, awards are a budgetable item for your unit, making it easy to honor outstanding service while planning responsibly. |
