These prestigious awards honor individuals who have made a lasting impact on PTA and the lives of children and families.

Lifetime Achievement Awards may be presented at any event or meeting of your choosing, such as Founders’ Day, an end-of-year awards ceremony, or another special PTA event. Please plan ahead and allow enough time for shipping when ordering your award.

How can you help your unit qualify for awards?
Filling out the President’s Report is a key step in providing us with the information needed to determine what level of awards your unit qualifies for.

Know someone who deserves recognition?

• Do you have an amazing volunteer in your unit who has gone above and beyond?
• Has your Principal demonstrated exceptional support for your PTA?
• Is there a student member who truly exemplifies the PTA mission and values?
• Is there a teacher at your school who embodies the mission of PTA?
• How does your unit communicate with your members and community? Newsletter, website, social media platform?

When will awards be presented?
All awards will be presented at the Awards Banquet during our Annual Convention on the evening of April 24, 2027. Winners of Individual Awards listed below will be notified by March 26, 2027.

Presidents Reports

Indiana PTA wants to recognize the incredible work happening at every level of our organization. These reports give unit and council presidents an opportunity to share their accomplishments, growth, and impact throughout the year while helping us determine which units and councils have reached recognition levels such as Certificate of Achievement, Certificate of Excellence, Outstanding Unit, Outstanding Council, and Certificate of Merit.
​
The President’s Report also includes a Bright Ideas section, where units and councils can share a program, event, or creative idea they are proud of. Bright Ideas will be compiled into a booklet and shared with Indiana PTA Convention attendees to inspire PTAs across the state.

Individual Awards

Indiana PTA wants to recognize the individuals who go above and beyond to support students, families, schools, and PTA. Nominate an outstanding advocate, teacher, principal, communicator, or volunteer who makes a difference in your community.

​The Beverly Zawadski Advocacy Award recognizes an individual who passionately advocates for children and works to ensure their voices, needs, and well-being are represented and heard.
