WHAT’S NEW on Indiana PTA’s Website
We want everyone to be aware of the new information that we add that doesn’t necessarily invoke a story. When ever there is a Good News Training they will be noted here so you are aware that the complete series has been added to the folder. Here are the newest items for you.
1-24-12 – Indiana PTA has uploaded 6 training series papers that were originally appeared in the Good News weekly newsletters from October 2, 2011 through December 11, 2011. Out topics included: Who-What-Where-Why-When of PTA Membership; Outstanding Award Forms; Reflections; Citizenship; Resolutions; e-Learning Courses; Joining the Indiana PTA Board of Managers and New Updated President’s Report. Some of these obviously are after the deadlines, but are still valid for basic information. Please be sure to read the one on New Updated President’s Report and the Who…… of Membership as they are especially still in effect. 12-31-11 – Recognizing all the wonderful sponsors and supporters of Indiana PTA became an official page for our website. These wonderful supporters help Indiana PTA provide for parents and leaders with materials, website information and email support as well as Convention needs for a learning and growing experience for members. 12-18-11 – Membership: Every month is a new challenge and this month’s challenge is actually fairly easy! This month your challenge is for any local unit that turns in 100% Teachers by December 31st, your unit will get a chance to win $100! If your unit has already reached this goal, just let us know and make sure we have your roster. For those units that are close, this is a great opportunity to do that last campaign to get all your teachers as members for your PTA!
11-16-11- Membership: Every month is a new challenge and this month’s challenge is actually fairly easy! Indiana PTA is looking to expand our Good News email reach as we head in to the 2012 legislative season and we also want to work to get potential new leaders for your PTA excited about programs, convention and more. So this month’s challenge is to turn in 100 names and emails of staff members, parents, PTSA volunteers – anyone you think would benefit by getting our Good News email. It’s an easy way to earn a chance at $100 for your PTA! Just turn the names and emails in on this spread sheet by November 30th for your chance to win!
11-15-11 – We have added several several items into a folder called November Mailing. These items are the digital copies of all paperwork sent to you in the regular mail this past week. If you need another copy you can find it here.
11-1-11 – New Resolutions booklet explaining how and why to prepare a resolution to help solve an issue that affects children and families in Indiana. There is also a flyer available. Both can be found under the forma tab in Resolutions. You can also access the Resolutions booklet here and the flyer here.
10-28-11 – Northeast Region registration form for November 5, 2011 conference on line here
10-2-11 – Indiana PTA unveiled the new Membership campaign loge and challenge in the Good News. You can see the My Membership Matters logo and challenge information here.
9-29-11 – We have also put the articles “Is Your PTA the ATM for your School?” and “What is a Field Service Representative?” into the Training Folder. Check it out. These articles are information that can be valuable so we share the information in the Good News and then put them in this folder for easy access.
